If you asked me to choose a dessert when it comes to a low-calorie diet, stuffed apples would be my first choice; Its preparation is so simple that anyone, without any experience in the kitchen, can prepare them. The simplest version can compete with mug cakes, it is also a dessert that is prepared in less than five minutes and cooked in a microwave. It is as easy as taking apples, remove the heart and fill the hole with nuts, a little brown sugar and cinnamon. Cook them in the microwave for just over 4 minutes each, depending on the power of the microwave and go.
However, this recipe is a bit more elaborate with noticeably better results. It is based on the same principle, to remove the heart of the apple, fill with nuts and bake, but with its slight differences. In this case, we will fill the apple with compote of apple and nuts, and cover it with a crumble of oats and nuts and caramel sauce.
