Ingredients
- 4 cups white bread cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup of vegan butter
- 1 celery finely chopped
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 3 tbsp fresh sage, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp. nutritional Yeast
- 3 cups vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp. fresh thyme
- A pinch of nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the rack in the center of the oven and preheat the oven to 350 ° F.
- In a sauce pan fry the onion and celery in the butter over medium heat. Add garlic, nutritional yeast and sage.
- Cook for about 12 minutes. Deglaze with broth, then continue cooking for 10 minutes. Then transfer everything into a large bowl.
- Add the bread cubes and mix gently with a wooden spoon.
- Place the bread mixture in baking dish.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil and brown the stuffing for about 10 to 15 minutes until the top is golden brown.
