The bouquets of cauliflower become soft and melting while cooking, and the paste that covers them, similar to a pancake batter wrapped in strong sauce, adds mellowness.

Vegan Cauliflower Buffalo Wings
Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower
- 1/2 cup of plant base milk of choice
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons of onion powder
- 1 teaspoons cumin
- 1 teaspoons of paprika
- 1/4 teaspoons of Himalayan pink salt
- 1/4 teaspoons ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable butter
- 1 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/2 cup Frank's Red Hot Sauce for Buffalo Wings
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450 ° F. Cover a very large baking sheet with parchment paper. Reserve.
- Wash and cut the cauliflower head into bite-size pieces.
- In a bowl combine plant base milk, water, flour and the spices. Mix until you have a smooth texture.
- Dip each cauliflower florets in the mixture and drain briefly before placing on the prepared baking sheet, slightly spacing the bites.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the cauliflower is cooking, prepare the sauce by combining the melted vegetable butter, Frank's sauce and nutritional yeast.
- Remove the cauliflower from the oven after its cooking time and place the bites in a large bowl. Pour the sauce over the bites and mix gently mix with a wooden spoon to coat evenly.
- Put the bites on the baking sheet and bake again for 25 minutes.
- Serve immediately while it is hot, accompanied by ranch type sauce if desired.
