Vegan Dolly Bars

Chunky, chewy and delicious chocolaty bars.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Vegan Cookies Graham Crackers type
  • 6 tbsp Vegetable Buter (Margarine)
  • 1 ½ cup Vegan Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup Vegan Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Shredded Coconut
  • 1 cup Nuts Chopped

Instructions

  • Process vegan cookies and vegetable butter in a food processor until well blended.
  • Preheat oven to 210º.
  • Grease a baking mould and spread the cookies and vegetable butter mixture on top (you can use a bread loaf pan, or a bread silicone mould as well).
  • Top with dark chocolate chips, nuts and condensed milk.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Let it cool and cut into 12 bars.
  • Top with a bit more shredded coconut.
    Note: if you can’t find vegan condensed milk you can prepare it at home. Simply bring 2
    cups of coconut milk and ¾ cup sugar to medium heat, and cook until thick and sticky.
