Vegan Dolly Bars
Chunky, chewy and delicious chocolaty bars.
Servings: 12 bars
- 8 oz Vegan Cookies Graham Crackers type
- 6 tbsp Vegetable Buter (Margarine)
- 1 ½ cup Vegan Condensed Milk
- 1 cup Vegan Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Shredded Coconut
- 1 cup Nuts Chopped
Process vegan cookies and vegetable butter in a food processor until well blended.
Preheat oven to 210º.
Grease a baking mould and spread the cookies and vegetable butter mixture on top (you can use a bread loaf pan, or a bread silicone mould as well).
Top with dark chocolate chips, nuts and condensed milk.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Let it cool and cut into 12 bars.
Top with a bit more shredded coconut.Note: if you can’t find vegan condensed milk you can prepare it at home. Simply bring 2
cups of coconut milk and ¾ cup sugar to medium heat, and cook until thick and sticky.
